CPT Global's History

Our history showcases a legacy of innovation, adaptability, and client-focused excellence.
1993
Founded in 1993 by Gerry Tuddenham, CPT Global initially focused on providing Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, and Testing services for clients with large IBM mainframes. These three core service offerings formed the foundation of our company's name.
1996
Recognizing the evolving technological landscape, CPT expanded its service offerings to encompass mid-range platforms, aligning with the industry's growing reliance on these systems.
1998

CPT's global reach expanded with the establishment of offices in Sydney and London, marking a significant step towards international growth.

 

2000
In 2000, CPT transitioned to a publicly traded company, listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:CGO). This milestone coincided with the opening of a new office in Canberra, further solidifying our presence within Australia.
2001
Peter Wright joined CPT as an Executive Director, spearheading the development of a new practice focused on IT consulting management. This dual-practice model, combining technical expertise with IT management and governance services, laid the groundwork for CPT's current service offerings.
2004
CPT's expansion into the North American market began in 2004 with the establishment of operations in the United States.
2007
CPT's significant contributions to international business were recognized by the Victorian Government with the Annual Export Award for Information and Communication Technology.
2010
Continued global expansion saw the opening of new offices in Toronto and Paris, further strengthening CPT's international presence.
2012
For the second time, CPT was honored by the Victorian Government with the Annual Export Award for Information and Communication Technology.
2015
Recognizing the critical role of software in our consultants' success, CPT established key technology partnerships with industry leaders such as Dynatrace, BMC, and Compuware.
2018
CPT further expanded its partner network through strategic alliances with Atlassian, UiPath, Micro Focus, and Delphix.  Simultaneously, CPT took a leading role in assuring the delivery of critical payments modernization and transformation initiatives for major banks worldwide.
2019
To better reflect the evolving needs of our clients, CPT formalized its delivery lines into three distinct areas: Transformation, Assurance, and Optimization.
2021
On November 1, 2021, Luke Tuddenham was officially appointed CEO of CPT Global, succeeding his father, Gerry Tuddenham, the company's founder and former Managing Director. This transition marked a new chapter in CPT's history, building upon a legacy of success and innovation.
